Our mission
as the parish community of
Our Lady of Hope
is to give witness to the love of Jesus in our families, our parish community and the world.
Our parish has a wonderful spirit and all of us together make that possible. Many people, who were here before us, believed that God is bringing us together and guiding our steps. They often asked, "What if …?" or "Why not …?" They gave thanks for what is and they hoped for what could be. We ask the same questions and share the same hope. Those who come after us will continue the same tradition that has been fashioned by the people of Our Lady of Hope, St. Bridget, St. John Vianney, Sacred Heart and Holy Cross.
The Pastoral Council and the Financial Council have separate but interrelated roles in carrying out the parish mission and being accountable for the responsible use of its resources.
Until we are assigned a pastor, the Councils are meeting jointly once a month with our Interim Parish Administrator.
Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council provides leadership for the parish's pastoral planning by clarifying the mission of the parish, supporting the parish ministries that implement that mission, assessing the vitality of the principal areas of parish life: prayer and worship, Christian service, faith formation and administration.

Finance Council
The Financial Council provides leadership for how the parish uses its resources to be faithful to its general mission and to effectively carry out its specific ministries. It does so by preparing an annual budget, providing financial reports, reviewing the parish's financial statements, advising on major expenses, fund raising issues, internal controls and accountability procedures, purchase and sale of property and financial planning for the future of the parish.
