Our mission
as the parish community of
Our Lady of Hope
is to give witness to the love of Jesus in our families, our parish community and the world.
Our parish has a wonderful spirit and all of us together make that possible. Many people, who were here before us, believed that God is bringing us together and guiding our steps. They often asked, "What if …?" or "Why not …?" They gave thanks for what is and they hoped for what could be. We ask the same questions and share the same hope. Those who come after us will continue the same tradition that has been fashioned by the people of Our Lady of Hope, St. Bridget, St. John Vianney, Sacred Heart and Holy Cross.
Everyone is encouraged to be involved in the life of the parish in whatever way you are able. The parish is always in need of more volunteers. If you are not sure of what is the best way for you to be involved, discuss that with the pastor.
Buildings & Grounds
Dedicated volunteers gather on Wednesday mornings to take care of routine maintenance, repairs and special projects. More volunteers are always needed.

Coffee-And …
We gather every Sunday after the 10:00am Mass, to foster a spirit of community. Volunteers sign up to share the responsibility of preparing coffee, serving the wonderful "pot-luck" dishes and cleaning up. A sign-up sheet is available in the parish hall, so that you can volunteer as your time allows.
Money Counters
To ensure accurate and safe handling of the parish collections trained volunteers count and deposit money immediately after each Mass. We use a rotation system and are always looking for more volunteers.

Liturgical Ministry
See the Liturgical Ministry page for information on how you might participate.
Wake Ministry
In the days preceding a funeral the parish offers compassionate support in a variety of ways. If members of the grieving family schedules a wake, members of the Wake Ministry are available to visit the funeral home and lead a brief prayer service.
Anyone who wants to be trained for this ministry should contact the parish office.
W.I.C. Volunteers
On the third Thursday of the month, Catholic Charities administers the Women, Infant and Children Program (W.I.C.) at our parish from 9:00am – 2:00pm. Volunteers offer hospitality by serving a light lunch and snacks. Nearby churches take turns providing the food.
